Found at a Jacksonville-area estate sale, this 1980s console arrived with good bones and a dated aesthetic — the kind of piece that gets overlooked precisely because most people can't see past the era it came from. We could.

We gave it the full Adam treatment — stripping back the original finish and refinishing it in a deep matte black that erases the decade entirely. What remains is the architecture: fluted legs that rise like classical columns, a generous 52-inch top, and a slim profile that fits beautifully in narrow spaces without losing presence. It reads as timeless now. That was the point.
