A wonderfully quirky and characterful vintage wooden sign that announces itself with total confidence. Hand-painted in bold black block letters with a striking red shadow outline, the phrase THIS IS IT is set against a distressed white-painted wood plank framed by a chunky red border. The jute rope hanger is original and intact, complete with small aged metal eyelets at each end.

This piece is full of age and patina — the white paint shows beautiful wood grain through it, the red border has worn at the edges, and the hand-lettering carries the slight irregularities that only come from someone painting by hand. A small missing chip at the top right corner adds to its story rather than taking anything away. This is a sign that has lived somewhere and meant something.
