A sculptural fish with a practical twist. This vintage Takahashi wooden angelfish holder combines a sweeping, pierced silhouette with warm reddish-brown wood and a rounded pedestal base. At 10 inches tall, it brings a little tropical character to a bar cart, shelf, or vanity without taking over the display.

Described as a cocktail pick holder, the perforated stand can also display lightweight earrings with compatible hooks. One wooden holder is included; cocktail picks, jewelry, and styling accessories are not.

How to Style & Use

Set it beside vintage glassware on a bar cart, pair it with brass and warm wood on a shelf, or use compatible hooks to display lightweight earrings on a vanity. Hole size and jewelry fit may vary. The original intended use has not been independently documented. For cocktail pick display, use clean, removable picks and keep food from direct contact with the vintage wood finish.

Provenance & Vintage Context

Takahashi San Francisco is identified as the brand/importer, not the individual carving workshop. The Japan attribution follows the underside label reported in the store's inspection; the circa 1960s–1970s dating remains an attribution. No specific wood species or individual maker is claimed.

Care

Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not soak or place in a dishwasher. Avoid harsh cleaners, direct sunlight, and prolonged moisture. Support the base when moving and handle the pointed fins and chipped area carefully.

Shipping & Handling
